Nativity & Christmas

The last two weeks of term have been about celebrating everything that is related to Christmas. The children have learnt about the Christian meaning of Christmas, the celebration of baby Jesus being born and they put on a wonderful performance of the Nativity.

They all have created some brilliant Christmas crafts, which are hopefully making your homes feel very festive. Thank you to all the mums that provided party food for our wonderful Christmas party, which the children throughly enjoyed.

We have had an action packed Autumn term, covering some wonderful topics. Two events stand out to me. Our Children in Need week which the children raised £450 with their sponsored walk, fancy dress day and cake sale. That was an amazing effort and the children loved running their cake stall.

The second was Science week. We created some wonderful science experiments for our budding scientists culminating in a trip to the science museum. Our skittles rainbow and volcano experiment had to be done twice during the week as the children kept asking for it!

A big thank you to all our parents for helping out at trips, baking, making and generally helping us run a wonderful nursery program.

Have a wonderful Christmas.

Spring term starts on Thursday 5th January at 9:15am.
